Just booked two nights with rewards, total 45K for Deluxe Non-smoking 2 Double-Beds...Not sure if it includes breakfast or dinner, though...
My understanding is that there is an opening special where breakfast and dinner is provided, but it does not apply to award bookings.
There may be a provision to include meals (either paid by cash, credit card or Instant Award) for award bookings after the opening special expires, but the details have not yet been finalized.

For those considering a stay here... the Japanese website has more pictures.

Rates are amazingly high, for a basic room without BF/Dinner. Stayed in a suite in a top-ranked ryokan facing Fuji-san with BF/Dinner and it cost less.
Was tempted to burn points here but Award stays do not come with meals. Makes it that much less attractive.

The website is multi-lingual, but the control to switch languages says "Language" written in Japanese characters, so if you can't read Japanese, you might miss it. It's the control called 言語 in the upper right corner. Click on it and there will be an option to switch to English. The Japanese version does appear to have more pictures, but there is a lot of information on the English one as well.

We'll have to wait for reviews and such or you can try emailing the hotel to find out more. Do post here when you get the details.

I called the hotel and they confirmed a full breakfast benefit for platinums. They also informed me that there is a complimentary taxi service from Kyoto station which you can pre-schedule through them. I'll update with any more information after my stay.
