new Fairfield appears to be open next to the Marriott Tech Center, tucked into the suburbia office park towards Snooze AM Eatery
BTW, the new Fairfield Tech Center is the 1,000th FF property worldwide...

- Marriott Phoenix Chandler - looks like a new built - opening Oct 2019
- The Clancy Autograph Collection SF - looks like a rebrand of an existing Courtyard on Second Street / Financial district - opening January 2020
- Denia Marriott Resort in Spain - already existed at one point, not sure if it‘s the same hotel - already opened
- La Caserne Chanzy Autograph Collection in Reims, France - repurposed building near all the nice champagne wineries - opening in July 2019

Marriott might be in the books to take over their first hotel in Luxembourg following extensive renovations. Property used to be a Mercure Grand in what is possibly the worst location in Luxembourg City 🙈

Two Marriott properties are set to reflag to the Sheraton brand:
- Park City Marriott (Utah)
- Portland Marriott at Sable Oaks (Maine)
Is this the new vision for Sheraton? Reflagging older Marriotts?

I am not sure this has been posted or not but the Shangri La in Doha just changed to a JW Marriott https://thepeninsulaqatar.com/articl...ha-opens-doors

Wow, that makes a lot of sense now in terms of how some of the corporate owned Sheraton properties are working with my event planners. We noticed that the planning for events seemed to standardize between Sheraton and "older" Marriotts

Interesting. Do you have dates on the above reflagging? If so, please post & I'll update the exec lounge sticky.

Cheers.
