Looking at the current Google map pictures of the Al Mirfa beach area, there is quite a bit of work needed to make that area look resort level nice. Admittedly they are about 3 years old, so lots could already have happened, but 2029 for that look seems a bit ambitious.

Marriott Courtyard Cardiff, UK reported locally in a planning application at 125-139 Queen Street.
A new 158-bedroom hotel with a restaurant and sky bar could soon be built at a prominent building in Cardiff city centre. J.B.S.L. The development aims to provide a high-quality four-star Marriott Courtyard Specification 158 rooms hotel accommodation for visitors to the area. Plans seek to remodel and change the use of part of the existing building on the well-known Cardiff street, which is a premier shopping destination. Proposed is a new three-storey extension plus roof-top pavilion with restaurant and sky-bar, as well as a hotel and enhancements to the external elevations of the building. These will include a renewed facade, new windows, external lighting, new hotel entrance and ancillary facilities. |

One would think "SFORC" means San Francisco International Airport (SFO) Ritz-Carlton (RC).

It's not that old, is it? Fewer than 10 years? In any case, there's now a Hyatt Regency right at the airport, opened earlier this year. Looks very nice. Access from the passenger terminal via interior, clean and well-lit walkways. The old Marriott/SPG Your24 benefit is standard for all guests, not just elites. You get 24 hours from checkin. It's the old Novotel, but photos, both interior and exterior, look like it's been completely renovated.
