Birmingham UK still offers full breakfast and 1 drink coupon per night, but (at least as a Gold) did not offer free parking.

Hi,

A quick update/clarification for the Ghent Marriott:

* Ghent / Marriott / No Lounge; Full breakfast; free internet in room & lobby; we also got drink coupons for each night, plat member and up to two guests. Choice of beer, soda, wine; 05/30/13 update
- Full breakfast for up to 3 people offered
- For the amenity, please note: the 1/2 bottle of wine is served in a carafe and not a bottle. Thus, if you had planned to drink it at a later time, either have the amenity delivered later/other day, or switch to something else.
- They still offer one drink coupon per day for up to 3 people (beer/house wine/soda)
- As a platinum (premier), in addition to the amenity, they delivered a fruit plate to our room, along with some tourist guides and earplugs (due to the local festivities happening on the water in front of the hotel
- Internet is still free for everyone

Cheers,

GenevaFlyer

Oakland Marriott Update.

Lounge still closed Fri afternoon through Sunday morning. With the latest changes to the breakfast program, the full breakfast buffet is no longer free on the weekend for plats as was my experience. The cold food on the buffet is free and there is a new $5 upcharge if you want hot food. This falls under the 'watch what you wish for."

FWIW - Oakland had gone back/forth on what it offered when the lounge was closed - ie, no coupons to coupons to no coupons.

I'll update the sticky w/ the latest.

Cheers.

San Francisco / Adagio Hotel, Autograph Collection / NO LOUNGE / Breakfast coupons for 2 offered to Golds & Plats for CONTINENTAL breakfast ($14 value) which consists of coffee/tea, juice, choice of pasties. Can instead select items on the menu for $14 or less. They won't let you get something for more than $14 and pay for the difference (don't understand why).

I look for the latest updates, even if it's only a few days after a prior one, and appreciate anyone that is willing to take the time to provide an update. We all want the latest info.

Cheers.
