Quick update :
Chicago / Renaissance Blackstone; CLOSED; Cont'l brekkie in restaurant for 2 given as $15 credit per person off anything on menu; 04/07/15 update

This was enough for a custom 3 course cold menu or the majority of the cost of other hot breakfasts (excluding drinks) , for example steak and eggs was $18. Was very happy, lounge breakfast on Monday was simple bacon and scrambled eggs, so nowhere near as good.

CY Hong Kong Sha Tin (The one that is Cat 4)

Lounge is closed due to renovation (it's not the lounge being renovated, so no hope for a nicer lounge). Official re-opening is around June/July, unofficial reply is as soon as sometimes in May.

At the moment, there is no lounge check-in and out, lounge is located on the lobby floor. Guests are allowed to eat brekkie at MoMo cafe which is a thousand times nicer than the lounge.

It's still very children friendly, they are ok with kids under 12 - big kudos to the hotel (E+1 thing doesn't apply to them).

Probably stay there in May again, and will report back.

* Houston / Marriott North

On 2/19/2015 through 2/22/2015 I was able to use my keycard to get into the lounge and grab a soda, even though it was closed on weekends.

JW Marriott Surabaya: Lounge open 6AM-midnight daily. Evening hors-d'oeuvres from 5:30-730, cocktails from 5:30-9. However at 9:30 the drinks were still not cleared.

Atlanta Marriott Perimeter Center

Any update on this property and how they currently handle breakfast for plats on weekends? That update I saw was dated 2012 and in another thread someone mentioned this property was giving full breakfast buffet on weekends to plats.

Thanks in advance

* Berlin / Marriott/ OPEN; if choose to eat in restaurant instead of lounge it's the full restaurant breakfast fee (no discount - so recommendation is eat brekkie in lounge!); 10% discount for Golds/Plats on drinks & snacks in Catwalk bar; free wifi in lounge;

This information appears to still be correct. I will point out, though, that the lounge is accessible 6 AM to midnight every day and always has some food out. The past week, this has been various breads (with butter, jams, cream cheese, Nutella), pastry (croissant, pain au chocolate...although that is probably not its name in German), some fruit, and chips/pretzels. Liquid refreshments, including beer but not wine, also appear to be available throughout the day.

Baltimore Waterfront Marriott

Quick update as of 4/27/15-

Information is still correct, just wanted to post an update on the cost to upgrade to full breakfast on Sunday. Our voucher covered $36.30 in the restaurant (for 2 people)- we upgraded to the full brunch buffet and the total cost for us was $8.48 (for 2 people). This includes the gratuity that is automatically added.

Livonia Marriott

Stayed here last week Mon-Fri. At checkin, was given both points and F&B $10 coupon. Thought this was unusual.

Lounge open Monday to Friday, Friday only in the mornings. Closed on weekends.

Prince Sakura Autograph Collection, Tokyo Japan

* Tokyo / The Prince Sakura Tower Tokyo, Autograph Collection / No Lounge; Breakfast for Golds & Plats in restaurant; 10/13 update

Just stayed here last week, and can confirm full breakfast for Gold per the info from 2013. Nice full breakfast buffet, Japanese and Western. Free internet for all guests (not a perk for Gold/Platinum). Also free access to hotel gym for Gold and Platinum(normally approx. $20). Both access to breakfast and the gym are based on showing an elite room key card, so make sure the desk gives you the appropriate color - we overheard several who were upset when they had issues but turned out they had been given the "standard" room keys at checkin.

Cardiff Marriott - Information as posted is still correct as of today. According the the manager, they plan to start serving breakfast in the lounge on weekends "within a few weeks." Until then, it will still be breakfast in the restaurant weekends, but the lounge does have evening weekend service of "small bites," wine, beer, etc.

Their "small bites" are sample sized, but there are seven or eight different things, plus cheese and dessert. One of each makes a full meal.
