Seattle Marriott Waterfront
Lounge now open for breakfast only on weekend (not accessible at all after breakfast). I was told at front desk that if the lounge is too crowded I should stop by the desk and they will give me a voucher for the restaurant. Should it work out that way I will report back on voucher value.

2 night award stay as a plat
Two drink certificates one for 5 euros and the other for an appetizer and 5 euros
Breakfast was full continental no plat plate

As of stay 5/29-5/31, upcharge to full breakfast is now CAD $9 (currently around $7.25). Sharon, not sure how you handle foreign currency upgrade charges and report them in USD or local currency.

Osaka Marriott update: the above is still true as of 5/2015, elite +1 is enforced, breakfast in lounge only but it is very good with egg station
Renaissance LHR: options of breakfast in lounge or restaurant (more choices) for elites
Amsterdam Marriott: above is till true as of 5/2015. breakfast in lounge only. Lounge is keycard accessible and not enforcing elite+1 strictly (as no staff at the entrance)
Zurich Marriott: the above is still true as of 5/2015

JW Marriott New Orleans update as of 6/13/2015. Executive Lounge is open on weekends for breakfast only. Signage isn't updated, but I was informed by the front desk clerk at check in and sure enough the EL was open Saturday and Sunday morning.

London Marriott Maida Vale open for breakfast on Sat/Sun, but no evening hot food on Fri/Sat/Sun. Lounge open weekends all day for bottled water and soft drinks.

Wow. I'm never staying there! So there is a Platinum-only lounge? Can you decline it and get the 1000 points M-F? Do Gold's get 1000 points M-F?
