My stays at this property are pre-COVID but I was always struck by how dark everything felt here - rooms, common areas. etc.

I have stayed several times here over the last few years. Their breakfast offerings during Covid were much better than any other Marriott hotel (full-service or otherwise) during my Covid travels, so I have been giving them my business when in the area.

I don't blame you for that. Their breakfast offerings are certainly better than at the Marriott BWI.

I find the lounge breakfast to be sufficient enough at the Marriott. I like the people at the Marriott BWI MUCH better than the folks at the Sheraton.
