Load bluebird/go bank at Walmart. Buy MOs at walmart or certain grocery stores. Billpay at walmart keeping in mind the 1000 txn size limit. The usual visa giftcard/prepaid debit options.

To clarify this the 1k transaction limit is on USB's side. You can do a larger BP and split the transaction between USB VB (1k) and any other debit card, to save on BP fees.

I opened a USB Buxx about a year ago. I didn't really do too much with it. I think I only loaded it a couple times and then unloaded it. So, since then, it has obviously gone inactive.

I logged into the parent account and see that the teen account has a status of "CLOSED". So, I figured that I'd just add a new teen (same name as the first one that is now closed). Well, when I went to load the card for the first time, it came up with a $15 "service fee". I don't remember this from the first time, but I could certainly be wrong.

I'm just wondering if it would be worth the effort to have my wife (parent) call and try to re-active the teen (mine) card or just continue on with creating a new teen and paying the $15 service fee?

Thanks for any insight you may have!

loaded 2 USB cards with 2k last month from my Chase SW Business card. This month card is not working. Plenty of available credit. Don't know if the block came from US Bank or Chase. Maybe I'll switch to Ink funding for a while.

I have 3 NW Buxx cards and just got a USB Buxx card. From what I've read, you can't use USB Buxx to get money orders. I plan to use it for BillPay at WM. I like the NW Buxx cards more, even with the $1K monthly limit.

I recently read (don't remember where) where somebody was able to buy GC @ WM with the USB Buxx.

That was why I'm thinking about re-opening my Buxx card, but I'm not sure which way to go yet until I get an answer on my question I asked earlier today.

All new cards have an initial $15 fee.

It's a frequency of use thing. They have a max limit of loads by the same card per time period thing. Add another card to load for now and you can go back to your SW card later.

Why USB Buxx cannot be used to purchase MO but can be used for BillPay. Essentially, they are the same transaction right?

This happened to me too, you need to give it 20 days then you will be able to do it again.

Believe someone posted a CSR mentioned something on the order of $5k per rolling 30 days for a funding card which matches my personal experience this far with funding sources for the USB Buxx.
