Now been going in circles with an indian call center for 30min, trying to get out of them what exactly they consider "suspicious activity" and whats the thresholds. Clearly their front line phone support ppl have no clue as they repeat the same template response over and over. |

Works for me as long as I wait an hour before liquidating.

Some Walmart stores SCO only permit the purchase of VGC to a maximum value of $1,000, while these two particular Walmart stores used to allow purchases of up to $4,000. so I usually buy 2k or 2.5k from them. I guess I have to try a smaller amount.

On the back of my cards it says Incomm, they've always been only issuer of Vanilla/SS. In any case, this is first time I've had any issues with these, so I wonder if they're doing large transaction blocks to crack down on fraud.
BTW, wasn't there recently a thread with reports of Pathward 4097s not working? |

Curious to hear if they provide you with any thresholds.
BTW, wasn't there recently a thread with reports of Pathward 4097s not working? The tech support was worthless. Basically same run-around, make-up policies game as every other Indian call center like what Amex has done with IRS payments supposedly not earning rewards. They'll just invent rules to give you an explanation, and stall soon as you call them out on the BS. I'll try the cards again tomorrow now that they're unlocked. If one doesn't work, i'll try the other with 250/swipe increments. |
I am having a 4358.. Pathward.. Blackhawk (the newer one with hologram) It was declined multiple times. Card shows $500. balance and no lock
Tried other than WM also and still declined. I have been trying to swipe 499. I don't see any DP about a swipe limit on this card. I have been using them with no problem. I am using them because I have a convenient source with a $4.95 fee. |

The problem is BHN. For whatever reason, they are limit to how much you are swiping each time. When buying GC, only look at the "service by". If you see Sutton or Incomm, then it will work most of the time. Stay away from BHN if you can.
I think i will just split the swipes into two smaller amounts and be rid of the card (hopefully) I do have a unicorn that has SecureSpend @ $4.95 fee so will stick with that for as long as it lasts. |

I agree, unless someone has a very specific method for BHN serviced cards to be liquidated which they know works, don't buy any cards serviced by BHN. |
