Self Checking out not working
 
transactions did not go through at two different stores, both by SCO. is this systemwide issue or self-check purchase of VGC is blocked?

1. What kind of VGC was it?
2. How much were you loading the GC?
3. Was it just one VGC?

Secure spend VGC at the first store, 4x$500. The purple color VGC, 5x$500 at the second store. Both are from PathwayVGC. Those are two kinds I have been purchasing often.

Do you not notice when it goes over $1000 (including fees) self-checkout requires manual intervention? Why not just buy the 1st for $500 and a 2nd for $490 and be on your way without some busybody coming around and telling you what they think of your purchase?

have been doing 4 or 5 cards per transaction for a while, never needed human approval.

when you couldn't buy 4x at one time, maybe that was the sign that to buy less. Their SCO is so strick that I couldn't even buy more than $500 in apple gc, but I was able to buy more than $1k in VGC. So I had to do 2 transactions to buy $1k in apple GC.

It's not even a manual intervention at my local WMs. The SCOs just straight up won't let you purchase $1000 or more in gebit in one go.

Went to a different store, tried to purchase just one VGC with $500 load, still failed. CC auth was fine, but at the end the VGC is failed to activate. is self checking out VGC dead?

Updated: went to the same store after dinner, brought 2X$500 VGC via the human check out, no issue.

Maybe try to avoid their algorithm to pick up any transaction at = to $504.94. I could have added in a small item, but I don't need to buy anything that I don't need. Just like when you file tax, they always recommend you to avoid even number when claiming deductions (i.e. 1000, 2000).
