BFMR claims they didn't receive over $12,000 in laptops - apparently someone opened all the boxes and took out the laptop and charger. This happened 2 other times in the past few months with watches and Airpods.

I've sent close to $500K and these shenanigans started happening after they launched their new warehouse. TDB lost my stuff more frequently but at least they covered losses. BFMR is completely useless when it comes to missing items - just photos of empty packaging.

Been through that, hope you recover your money. I lost my seasoned Walmart accounts due to this fiasco. Since then, I hardly sent more than $5k to BFMR.

EMB lists expiry date on most of the deals. Is this the date that the package has to arrive to them, or is it just how long the deal is active for?

if I were you I would stay away from EMB , soon they will loss your items and they won't even reply to your e-mails
I am guessing you are in here asking because they didn’t reply to your inquiry

Luckily haven't had items gone missing, but yes they do seem to take quite a while to respond to questions so wanted to check here

Welp, looks like I've got my first L. Amazon says delivered to PM, never tracked, I submitted a ticket after a week, all I get is a "we didn't receive this". That response took like 3 days. Do you guys take it up with Amazon?

That is disappointing to hear. Is it definitely past the time PM would have scanned it? I would ask that in a follow-up question to PM if they haven't already answered.

If you get no resolution with PM, it's definitely worth reaching out to Amazon Support. I had a similar situation, contacted Amazon, told them it was never delivered/received, and Amazon refunded me in full. I think that's pretty YMMV though. It probably helped that I'm a big Amazon customer for non-MS purposes.

Amazon doesn't provide return option other than UPS pickups for apple devices. They said even return on my own expense option is not available. Any ideal how to deal with this situation?

Quarantine Sep 6, 2022 10:41 pm

USA Buying Group claimed they didn’t receive the package even though it was signed by one of them. I only realized this after the return window for Amazon has passed and Amazon said there’s nothing they can do.

Amazon also said that because it was shipped to a “freight forwarder”, I should reach out to them (aka USA Buying Group). USA Buying Group claimed they didn’t receive the package and that “When UPS delivers, they scan for an entire shipment at once, not for each individual package. Therefore, it's possible for a package to be signed for, but in actuality it was never delivered.”

Does this sound plausible or are they BS-ing me? The package is worth almost $1,000 and it feels like I’m about to be SOL. Both parties are saying I should deal with the other. Would anyone have suggestions how I could possibly recoup this loss?

Thats going to be on you to figure out. There are plenty of warnings for not dealing with USA BG and EMB. Sooner or later everyone comes across situation like yours and it can be any BG. You assume risk for buying merchandise for Buying groups. They will almost always never accept responsibility for the lost package.

Try again with Amazon, if that fails try chargeback, but that may sour your relationship with Amazon. An expensive option is to chalk it up as cost of doing business.

well said, if the OP spent 5 minutes on Flyer talk before dealing with USA he would have seen this coming, the same will happen if you deal with EMB

There’s reasons to avoid every BG. To name a few:

HH: need TE, not many deals

Gibs: not many Amazon deals

Could you (or anyone else here) provide more information on these two groups? I've never heard of them, and I believe neither have most people here.

There’s a lot of companies not discussed here: BfP, Swift, BfG, QB, Platinum, MCP, HSO, YRCW, Simtec, to name a few. Some are still around. Some have gone to private buyers, etc.

Some you hear about in FB groups or paid Slack groups. Some you need tax exempt. Others are invite only, or have small/limited deals. The ones discussed here have been around awhile.
