Just got a reply from BFMR, they're still accepting it. I'm just not sure if I can get into trouble with Dell if I ask for the replacement to be shipped directly to them...
Then again, if I return the laptop and get a refund, will Amex claw back the credits?

Anyone have any recommendations to avoid orders being cancelled?

Item missing from package

Anybody have an experience of item missing from a package with dealbuyer ? Sent 2 exact items worth 500 each , dealbuyer is claiming only one were present in the box . Not sure whether dealbuyer is lying or FedEx employee stole an item . FedEx employees were keep asking me what you are sending like that whenever i drop off a package every time .

Never had such issues with dealbuyer. Have shipped packages to their California address. It could be a dealbuyer employee who did it , but I would lean towards Fedex. I hate it when they ask what's inside.

yeah I am also suspicious on FedEx only, though I always say it’s furniture or moving household items. Not sure whether I can submit missing content claim with FedEx .

Anyone know what BFMR classifies as "damaged" when they tell you an item is damaged and needs to be returned? Had that happen on two laptops that were delivered last week. I asked for photos from BFMR and they sent me photos of the packaging with what looked to be a very small amount of damage. There wasn't anything showing that the item itself was damaged, though, just the box. I think UPS delivered both packages.

I also asked BFMR for some clarification and I primarily asked for photos because I need them to process the returns. But wanted to check here and see if anyone else has had a similar experience and/or has some insight. Thanks!

Had the same issue with them. The box was damaged (small hole, the box appeared a bit squeezed), probably not the laptop inside. But I understand that they can't resell it like that, got a replacement. Told the merchant that I was not sure if the contents were damaged, but that I was concerned, given the state the box was in. It was fine. I could avoid sending photos of the damage and got a replacement order.

All buying groups usually reject such packages. They don't risk it since they have to resell it. In fact lot of amazon warehouse items are just damaged packaging

Makes sense. I immediately checked the returns for the merchant in question and they require photos to be attached. Hopefully, not an issue, though.

Definitely, make sense. If only all packages could arrive in pristine condition

If it was Dell, try via chat instead of the website. Say you're not good with computers. ;-)

I tried max out deals recently and they scanned item same day they received . Payment was made following business day through echeck

Anybody had experience of filing FedEx claim for missed contents? I filed last week and they denied saying they need shipper authorization to pursue claim since label was provided by deal buyer

Both UPS and FedEx will only work with the owner of the account who paid for the shipping. Their contract of service is with the person who paid for the service, not the recipient.

Both MaxoutDeals and TheDealBuyer have been putting up a lot of deals for best buy.
Anyone here know how to get around Best Buy cancelling orders?

AFAIK it's very rare to get orders shipped from BB, and the few that have won't share their jigs. Best to just ship to home for deals with free labels. That being said, does MaxoutDeals offer labels for any deals? It looks like they are only a few months old (based on their whois), are they legit?

maxoutdeals does offer labels for some of the offers, I recently sent first time using their label to CA. They did same day check in and echeck has been issued on following day
