How has EMB been since switching deliveries to their new warehouse at Tyler Way? I haven't sent them anything in 2 months due to an iPad delivery that went missing, but curious if there has been an improvement in recent weeks.
I haven’t sent anything to them since. With other groups at least you can usually resolve issues with little effort. EMB CS imo is just irresponsible arrogant O |

I had really bad experience with EMB. First they asked me to return a TON of stuff (more than 400 units) which I filled out the form and delivered within deadline. Then what’s made me really angry is that their customer service for return and missing items is TERRIBLE. Like many have mentioned above, takes them a week to reply and they never do anything even if they say they would “investigate”. I have to eventually send them a demand letter to have them respond to my issues. They just said they didn’t receive it and nothing can be done. At that point, which is more than a month since I first inquired about the missing packages, I just don’t want to talk to them anymore. So I disputed with cc.

I am still waiting for BFMR to send a damaged box back to Dell. I provided a shipping label 2 weeks ago, opened support ticket and asked for the status several times. They closed the ticket a week ago stating that they will ship it in coming days. I just assume they are busy this time of the year. Also don't know if there is a timeframe for Dell to receive the returned item before they charge me for it.
|
In my case, BFMR shipped it back a few days later, and Dell kept sending me reminders (threatening to charge me for the replacement) long after they had received it.
Did you track it? Are you sure they haven’t sent it yet? If they really haven’t sent it yet, maybe reply to the ticket and remind them? I think they have 30 days or so to return it, it should be fine. |

There’s been a lot of complaints about them lately. They used to be at the top with customer service. Not sure what’s going on.
Seems like once a group goes to discord, things go downhill. I know, I know. Correlation doesn’t equal causation. |
Any opinions on TDB vs BFMR? I've been using TDB for a while and am unimpressed with customer service. Over a week to "generate" a check, infrequent scan in statuses, over 2 weeks to scan in items.

Hi everyone. We run MaxoutDeals buying group. New to this website. Committed to giving you guys the best service so here on a real account ready for discussions and questions you may have.
Second question: For other Buying Groups, their addresses are blocked by all retailers except for Amazon. Do you know whether you address is bloacked by Walmart, Dell, Target, BestBuy,...? |

So far my experience with groups is:
- MYSBuyingGroup: Most "deals" are below cost. No ACH - BFMR: Pays fastest, but has limited deal flow. You dont haver to request payouts they just ACH the money over as soon as something is delivered. They had some delivery issues with a few of their locations, but they've long solved them and provided new addresses. - EDB: Rarely have issues, but when you do support is non-existent. Pays and scans super fast, but you have to request a check. No ACH. - TBD: Best custom service experience and a very active discord community. Offers ACH, but it takes a week (longer during holidays) to get paid out. - USABuyingGroup: Literally the worst option. The have a lot of deals which makes them compelling, but they lose about 5% of my orders which quickly kills any benefits from the volume. Support takes months to respond and generally says "sorry, nothing we can do". Avoid them like the plague. With retailers: - Amazon will almost always deliver as long as you aren't using gift cards. - Walmart will quickly block an item for address based on qtys ordered to that address, not by account. Worse if they choose to deliver from store you'll have no tracking number and the goobers they hire from uber to do deliveries are just as likely to leave your package in the dumpster as they are to actually give it to the loading dock. If they arrive after hours they must just leave it on the curb and you have to hope nobody steals it. - Target works most of the time, but occasionally blocks buying group addresses. - ebay works every time, but returns are hassle if your buying group decides not to accept the item for some reason. |

I dont like having to request when BMFR just auto-pays via ACH - but the volume of deals on TDB is better and their active discord community has been helpful. |

Right now, since all vendors cancel orders except for Amazon. I do business with only Amazon. To maximize the profit, I first ourchase discounted Amazon gift cards and then used the gift cards to make purchases on Amazon. Any risks for this mode?.
Curious what website though. I assume Gameflip? |

Amazon will eventually flag your account for this. Worse if even a single card gets flagged for fraud or theft. (eg the seller charges it back).

I have used them for a long time. I feel that TDB is getting worse now. So many issues with them: Late check-in, slow payment, missing items, and so on. In my opinion, it is better to stay away from TDB for now unless their deals are really impressive. BFMR is better regarding scanning in and payment. People also reported lost packages with BRME, but I did not encounter that issue recently.
