There was a trick that used to work. I’ve shared it with a couple people here. Maybe someone can report back if it still works…
|
I received the following e-mail from TheDealBuyer after submitting an Amazon’s tracking number of an iPad order:
We have contacted the Amazon facility to inquire about shipments sent with the Tbapdx tracking numbers so that we can resolve this issue soon. Please do not ask for refunds or replacements because if the shipment does get delivered after-all, the contents will be blocked (and essentially, useless). If any items are blocked once delivered, we will prevent you from purchasing items in the future as it creates many issues for us. If you do get a refund and want to prevent getting banned, ensure that you block the tracking number in order management. This way, if the package does get delivered to the warehouse, it will lead to automatic blocking during scan-in, We do scan in the serial numbers and can easily track it back to the users. This was my first order submitted to them on an Amazon account that I regularly use. What does it mean? I never heard of issues with “TBAPDX” and that’s the first time a package shipped with this kind of “PDX” stuff after the TBA and I don’t know what it means at all. |

Other than this forum, and the TDB discord, are there any other places that discuss BG's? Would be curious to find on on EMB as they seem to be misplacing packages. I'm in a fight with them now over some iPads that were delivered 2 weeks ago that was not been scanned in.

You’re fighting a losing battle. They’re not going to pay you for packages they say they didn’t receive. Your only option to to go to the company you bought from which may or may not refund. If not, that leaves a chargeback.

I had previously bought some AirPods from Amazon and sent them to USA Buying Group. They were unfortunately rejected by them as the boxes were already opened.
The group said they would return them to Amazon via drop off. However, Amazon customer service said their new policy was to do UPS pickup only for Apple products. I had them pickup at their DE location. A week goes by, they said to wait. Then I discovered they had sent the package to NJ and I should’ve asked UPS to pickup at the NJ location (by no means this was mentioned to me and I had to ask them repeatedly). A month later I still have not gotten a resolution. Their response time has been slower and slower. At this point, I wouldn’t mind paying for the shipping labels so that the packages could be sent to me so that I myself can return these to Amazon, but they have yet to respond to me in nearly a week now. Just curious what everyone’s experience is with USA Buying Group and whether you’ve had trouble with getting their help to return rejected items to the original sender? I’m wondering what I can do to get these resolved, if anyone has any ideas. |
A lot of experiences with these companies sound like a nightmare if there are issues
I'm limiting myself to using thedealbuyer since they seem to have better service ( and maaaybe BFMR but not sure since they had issues recently), but they don't have a lot of deals.. |

PM has become way too picky about what they consider a damaged item.

So any other recommended buying groups? Doesn't seem like other than TDB, the other groups have an especially good reputation. I am unsure if I want to continue using BFMR given the issues described in the last few pages...
