A serious overreaction to say the least. A lot of the anguish is self-inflicted.

To be in this hobby you have to understand the inherent risks as well as to have a cool head, and be able to handle crisis without getting into panic mode.

Totally agree. I did several orders of those cards, I recall many were unsealed. Yeah I wasn't pleased, sure they should have been sealed, but I didn't bother panicking, I turned them into MOs and kept the cards for about a month (as I regularly do) just in case. I lost neither money nor time, so I had no incentive to throw a fit just because the people that were supposed to seal the envelopes didn't.

My second order from GCM came sealed just fine on the outer envelope. The inner envelopes are barely sealed, but that's minor. Maybe my area is new to this game, and so are our USPS employees, so they're not opening the main envelope...idk. I don't mind GCM's process. Their website is horribly slow to update the status (I had VGC's delivered on 3/6 that still are showing as processed) and I got my second order (ordered on 3/9) delivered yesterday, so I have had zero issues.

Granted, I'm ordering small dollars, but GCM is awesome for me considering I can get my VGC's delivered (for free after portals), in ~1 week. As stated earlier, my 3/9 order was delivered on 3/17. My 2/28 order on 3/6. 7-8 days, for free, is acceptable to me. I'm not sure how I feel that they come activated and are easily stolen, but if GCM is okay mailing something that is essentially cash, then there must be some recourse.

Hi guys... I'm wanting to place an order with GCM. What portal can I use to off-set the cost so it comes out practically free? Thanks for any help. PS: I'm trying to find a different option other than buying from Simon Mall.

Try www.topcashback.com
You may've seen it mentioned in this thread, and it's worked fairly well for me as well.

Can I liquidate the cards bought at GCM at Walmart? (money order) or other way? Or the cards are the ones needed to be done with the post office?

They will not work at P.O.'s, but can be used to buy money orders at Walmarts -- if the specific location allows it. Some WMT locations require that your cards have a printed name that matches your ID. Since you can customize your cards from GCM, they'd be ideal for such locations.

My January 17th purchase, and only that one just went payable. I'm used to a whole batch going at once and not individual days. Is this common to onesy-twosey the purchases to payable with GCM or should I begin to expect more of Jan/Feb to go payable shortly?

Consider yourself lucky. My January 15th purchase is confirmed but not payable. My other purchases through TCB after January 15th not confirmed, not payable. Recently my orders stopped being tracked and I have to file claim every time I purchase through TCB.

I was able to place an order from GCM. My two previous attempts had been automatically declined by the GCM. Order amount $1500

@ lumangoy:

Those were special increased CB rates (2.25% and 2.5% I think) usually during some holidays.

mactrader Mar 21, 2017 6:28 pm

For those of you who use two GCM accounts on your topcashback, do you spread out the purchases between the two accounts? I am finding that whenever I try to create another order (am doing back to back at the moment) my wife's account gets a denial when submitting the order. Then it'll work a few days later. Do I need to wait a day, or for the first transaction to post?

I was hoping to stack/stagger the purchases to have them come more quickly, but it seems that I may need to spread them out more? Just trying to get a sense of the mechanics properly and not misconstrue them as bannings/etc.
