And kept your promotional service fee? I just attempted this and in big red letters it says "Editing any scheduled payments will cause your service fee to reset to the current standard rate."

I just tried this, and got the same message. Did you go ahead with it?

I still have a few more rent payments to do on my Att card else they'll claw back the first fee-free benefit. (I'm on the first free if you book six)

I snagged the Amex biz blue pref card recently and was hoping to use it for a rent payment since I don't have organic spend bandwidth to do $3k anytime soon.

What I'm thinking of doing is to change dates on the upcoming ATT payments, basically pushing them all up a month and schedule a one time payment w the Amex. That should work right?

I was wondering about this too, but I also didn't really expect to get the answer I wanted to hear. I have a mortgage payment to Wells Fargo that has generated a lot of points using CIP and ATTAM, but it sure would have been nice to have an easy and economical way to knock down the minimum spend for the new Prestige.

Does using Chase Ink Preferred and Venmo for rent/mortgage register as travel as some have eluded to inthe past or has that been changed?

I tested all the categories on Plastiq with Visa and MC. The results are not good so far.
For MC most of the categories posted as utility and 2 posted as Misc. Govt. Services. (clubs and rent)
For Visa 2 categories coded as insurance (rent, real estate), and as CHARITABLE AND SOCIAL SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS (clubs) - this can probably be used with USB Flexperks to get 3x till the end of the year, the rest was GOVERNMENT SERVICES-NOT ELSEWHERE CLASSIFIED. So that means that insurance pays 3x when using Ink Preferred? I will try with Ink Plus/Cash next time, I don't have Preferred.
I did some tests with both Visa and MC after 22nd, and will see how many points I will get, but my statement closes on 19th.

Services Similar to Plastiq

Are there any services anyone is happy with that are similar to Plastiq? I have to cut fee checks to a State agency that are not on a regular schedule and Plastiq takes too long to deliver the check?

Payment would be made with a Chase Sapphire Reserver or MP Select Visa.

Thanks in advance.

How often do promos come, or are they far and few between? Just had to make a $20,000 insurance payment on the Citi Prestige (hate insurance companies, they made me pay entire year in advance) but the 1.75% helped considering its 2 months float plus 20k miles. Would definitely hold off on some payments if theres an expectation something might come out soon...

And are shipping companies (trucking, moving companies) able to classify as 3x shipping for Amex Business Gold rewards?

Would be interested as well. Not sure why it takes so long on some.

LAst month DoC wrote that Visa is no longer allowed for Plastiq mortgage payments. So VGC no longer work? Staples has a promo right now and Plastiq is my usual mode of liquidation.

i recall saying that it depends on the size of the mortgage company. so its YMMV. Give it a try.

doing VGC on plastiq is 1% fee right?
