Wondering if it's automatic. Tried to schedule a payment to a mortgage company, and on the last page, there was this banner offering 1 month fee free if scheduling a 6 month recurring payment.

Paid rent to my landlord using Chase Ink Preferred. Coded as a purchase and got the 3x for travel. Check arrived in a week.

Paid a HELOC to Space Coast Credit Union. Used Amex Business Gold Rewards card and coded as a purchase (cash advance not possible on Amex charge cards, anyway). Classified as misc business services, so no multiplier. Check was mailed the next day (not yet cashed).

For those that took advantage for the promo where you get your first month's fee waived as long as you set up 6 months for recurring payments, can you change the credit card used or would that negate the offer? Thanks.

No idea. Part of the reason I didn't take the offer.

Hi, just wanted to provide a DP on time frame.

I scheduled a mortgage payment to McCue mortgage on 4/18, was sent on 4/19 and received and cashed on 4/25.

I used my Citi Prestige which did NOT code as travel, but I think you knew what already. I just got the CSR and submitting with that card so hopefully, It will trigger 3x

maybe it is too close to the statement date.

As of today, no travel credit yet.

I just signed up and added a Visa card but got the "cash advance" warning. Because of that I used an old Mastercard and sent a $5.00 payment to the recipient which was recommended to then be able to use the Visa. How long do I have to wait before I can use my Visa without "cash advance" to a particular person? Doing home reno and have a new card and need to send a $4500 check. That would cover my initial spend.

for some transactions, such as travel, there is additional information on the website, including MCC, folio#, etc.

Also, you can see the mcc by downloading a CSV file.
the MCC is included in the description in the CSV file.

Is plastiq regular with promos? I'd rather wait for some sort of a discount on the fee.

2.5% is too steep for my taste.

Thanks
