I used to be a serious doubter about threads like this. Now that I'm moving from noob to novice I'm finding it to be pretty lucrative and also time consuming! IMO set a goal, ie points, cash back ect. Then achieve said goal and repeat. Why worry about trying to make a living doing this?

If you mean send them to the CC company to handle, I don't think this would be a very good idea long term. If this isn't a massive red flag I don't know what is.

Agree with prior poster, not seeing how you could rack up tens of $K a month in MO and not deposit them.

I think you misread the person you quoted. They are doing 10-20k a month. Which is about 120k-240k a year. I don't know how they do it but it is very impressive. I guess the key is >5%. I guess these are from older cards?

Is there any way for banks to see how many checking accounts you have? For example, if I stop at Wells Fargo and open up an account and then go to Bank of America an hour later to open up an account, can Bank of America see that I just opened up an account at Wells Fargo?

Before learning that, everything above seemed reasonably doable. But it all falls apart if you can only get 5% up to 1.5K.

Now, I'm totally confused. Nothing new with that, but disappointed also, 'cause I'm pretty sure you all are not gonna give me the secret answer.
