No response from RL after the said issue was escalated and a support ticket was supposedly filed, but my account is somehow back to normal now. I am able to add and load as usual.

Man I have been having a lot of trouble trying to load some Rlits onto Netspend cards with the "technical issues" error. Anyone having the same issue I have?

Have you tried logging into your Netspend account. I was having trouble loading to Netspend and it turns out they closed my account.

During my fiasco with them this week, they kept asking if I was trying to load NS. It sounded like there was some system failure on their end with NS.

Ahh so it is a known issue. Did they say that they are trying to resolve the issue with Netspend?

No. I typically don't get straight answers from these folks anyway, so I didn't even ask. Also, I stopped loading NS after I maxed out 10 packs on their savings program across several accounts.

What? The max is 10 reload packs for all the different NS accounts?

I should've been more clear. Knowing the shutdown reports from NS, I'd decided not to MS their prepaid and moved $5000 over to their savings to take advantage of the 5%. Instead of ACH in, I bought RL packs, loaded to NS, then transferred to savings. I did that for multiple accounts I maintain for my family members, 10 packs for each account.

Gotcha. Yeah that is what I am doing right now trying to partially fund my savings with Rlits but these past 2 days the Rlit system has been having difficulty transferring to Netspend. I even tried to load a Rlit on the NS account options under Move Money -> Activate a Reloadit Pack but that didn't take it either.

I am not trying to MS the actual NS card but rather just use it for the 5% savings. I gotta assume that Rlit is having some issue connecting with NS.

Anyone have luck today with loading Reloadits via the Safe?

EDIT: When I called Reloadit and ask them to see what they see in their system, they say that when it tries to load the pack it gets bounced back due to it be a "restricted" card. Could it be that this is an issue?

If you have trouble with the Reloadit Safe, and they refuse to refund you your money, just file a complaint with the CFPB. I loaded $2,500 worth of Reloadits into my safe only to get the technical error message every time. I called for a refund, was told to fax in receipts, and then had my account locked when I told them that I did not have my receipts any more. They refused to work with me, and it was frustrating since the FDIC does not regulate Blackhawk. Luckily, I found out that the CFPB now regulates prepaids. One complaint and a week later had my account unlocked.

Well, they always say that and claim there is absolutely nothing wrong with their system. Sometime, when you just load at a different time or day, everything magically works again.

I suppose you're referring to your attempt to load NS. You can call NS to make sure if your account is closed, but I bet that it is likely active. RL will say it's bounced back, NS will say they see no load. It was a nightmare to complete my $5k load to each NS account and I'm glad I'm done with that.

Yes I am referring to my attempts to load NS and its associated cards. I have called NS before and they say that my accounts are in good standing (it should since its new) and active but I think what NS is looking for in terms of RL attempts are if you load via the NS account website under "Activate a Reloadit Pack" and NOT through RL Safe of which it uses a different numbering scheme than the typical RL which has 10 digits. I don't think NS has access to attempted loads made via RL Safe so of course they say they see no RL attempts.

Of course when I call RL, they do say it bounces back and say its restricted..blah blah and they always mention trying clearing your cookies and what not and try again which never works. Well I have tried in Chrome incognito mode and it still generates the same error so I don't think its related at all with cookies and cache. I rarely clean out my cookies and cache when loading Tmobile and even my earlier NS loads with no problem.

So I guess you are saying there is no rhyme or reason as to why its not working currently but that some time it will just suddenly work again?

Has anyone tried loading to an Account Now card recently? I tried loading one tonight for the first time and it says that it was successfully loaded, but the money has not appeared in my account. I've been using Serve for my loads and the money usually appears instantaneously.

It takes an hour or so for the balance to update on the AccountNow website. Also, it shows up first in the balance on the billpay part of the site.
