One Vanilla VISA debit?
 
i haven't using evolve for awhile due to changing job/careers. I was just wondering if One Vanilla VISA debit still work with evolve for paying mortgages.

Yes I do pay $500 for just principle every month.

Can't add a card (Vanilla Visa). Doesn't reject it, it just sits there spinning after clicking Save. Tried in Chrome and FF

Anyone else?

Simon Mall Giftcards, issued by Metabank and Serviced by Blackhawk, do work now (December 2014).
Thanks to whoever updated the Wiki for this. Simon Mall VGC weren't working last year and have been recently fixed. I was also able to make a payment today on Evolve Money.

Turns out it was the corporate firewall. I could get to the site, but not add a card. I added the card from the Android app and then paid via the website.

An Important Message Regarding Your Account

Dear Evolve Money Customer,

Late last year we introduced Discover credit cards as a payment option in Evolve Money. The response has been overwhelming and we appreciate your taking advantage of this newest means of paying your bills.

Our introductory period has come to a close and we are implementing some changes to the use of Discover credit cards beginning Feb. 1, 2015.
  • All restrictions on the types of bills you can pay have been eliminated. This means you can now pay loans, such as mortgages, auto, student and retail store cards along with your utilities and other bills.
  • A new Bill Pay Fee of 3 percent is now being applied to all Discover credit card transactions. This fee is necessary to cover our processing costs. Note: In the payment summary you will see the new fee amount when using your Discover credit card. We waive this fee for major debit cards, so you will have the option to change your payment method before you complete a payment transaction.

There are no changes to the use of your Discover debit card.

With these changes, you will need to accept the new End User License Agreement (EULA) the next time you login to Evolve Money.

The term update email was sent to me after 9pm on 02/01, and I scheduled a $999 payment this morning...... I hope they won't hit me with a $60 fee:mad::td::mad::td:

3% fee on a $999 payment would be $29.97.

How about payments scheduled in January? Will they get 3% fee too? Or is this for payments you schedule going forward?

I am just relying more on Serve now btw.

I understand this to mean all B/Ps after one accepts the EULA. In other words, the 3% fee is not retroactive.

with this new terms, I'm switching to other forms of payment. Good-bye Evolve!
