The reloads? They went cash only at the same time as everything else

@ CVS? Trolling

you might be confusing things. you can buy PP (like other reloadables) at other places like grocery stores.

not at CVS for 2 months now. hard coded stop.

I think PP reloads are still at Walgreens, with a CC.

does Walgreens or anywhere else allow you to use debit to buy VR?

You don't need to ask for splitting payment. Just do it - swipe your AGC first and the register will automatically drain off your balance in AGC

It's getting harder to get more than $1K at a time in my local CVS. I only have one CVS here in my town.

Today, Store Manager was the counter, and I went to him with 4 OV. He said, I can do only 1K. I said ok.

Then total was $1k +9.xx fees. I asked him to split the transaction, with $1K on AGC and rest on a cc. He is like " I am the store Manager, I will NOT Split the transaction, you have to swipe all on one shot", Was too rude IMO.
What can I do if he is the store manager? But any way, ended up using BC card finally.

Walgreens does not. It is hard coded.

I said this yesterday and another poster made the point to mention that it's not applicable everywhere. Though I suspect it's applicable most places.

Thanks, any input on debit VR sales at other places like Sheetz, Dollar General etc?

cancerisking Jun 6, 2014 8:59 am

I just bought PP cards with a CC this morning at CEE VEE SSSSS.

The Dollar Generals around here have never had VRs. I don't usually visit them in other cities, so this must be a geo-YMMV.

Can't remember, but what's the transaction limit on OVs at once? Is it $2500 per transaction before the POS locks up? Swear I remember seeing $2500 before for some reason
