Where are you going next?

I think it would be very interesting for all of us to know where everyone is going next, and in that, I mean which hotel. It is always wonderful to read everyone's reviews of the hotels they just stayed in, but it would be good to know who is going where and which destinations/hotels are currently on our hot lists.

To start the ball rolling, I am going to Abu Dhabi.

I'm returning to the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel in February.
Just made plans to go to NYC in Dec to see Broadway show. Staying at London on 54th and 5th.

All work, no play and before Xmas

Birmingham Mal Maison
London - (Waldorf or Renaissance Chancery Court)
Wroxhall Abbey, Warwickshire
Bristol - Aztec Hotel
Jury's Inn Croyden
An as yet unnamed hotel in Newcastle
just after Xmas an as yet unnamed hotel in Pretoria / Johannesburg - Foreign & Commonwealth Office restrictions - so good security and little else to commend it is par for the course

Living the dream!

Starting to think about Hols next year - we'd like to go back to Hong Kong, it's been 5 years - probably MO, IC, or Island Shangri La and maybe Borneo at the SL Tanjung Aru. Failing that, or hopefully in addition, we might just load the car up and go for drive around England stopping at some decent B+B's - sometimes think we overlook what is on our own doorstep.

Paris Park Hyatt end of next month. Eastern europe (haven't decided on hotels) in May. London (if Federer is in the Wimbledon final) in July. Positano in August. Few US trips in between.

Ditto. Before leaving for Jackson Hole (Four Seasons) later this month, I'm squeezing in a few stays at some Phoenix-area Starwoods.

Holiday Inn, Sheffield.

Seriously.

I've got their top suite though!

Four Seasons Hampshire, post Christmas, pre New Year, will be a welcome respite after that.

First week in Jan 2010 - Capella Pedregal (have to try this one out before it goes downhill like the other Capella properties have seemed to).

Second week in March - FS Buenos Aires and Carmelo.

June - FS Hong Kong and then some other places in Asia (probably FS in Langkawi and Bali, but not sure where we'll stay in Bali yet other than it will not be an Aman).

No chance getting in Aman or Trisara for New Years eve even by booking in spring - so I'm giving Panwa a try, and I'm positively looking forward to it since I listened to a very good personal report and I really like their attitude in their blog and in reports by serious travel journalists. I will see & report!
