Thanks to Kagehitokiri for pointing me to these:
That makes three of us. Four counting Mr. Megatop. We'll be there for New Year's again this year, seventh year in a row. Christmas in Bali at amandari/amankila. Weekend before Christmas at Peninsula Shanghai.
But next up, leaving tomorrow, is our return to FS Sayan. Can't wait. But sooooo much to do before I can get on the plane.

This is evidence that great minds think alike.

I tend to plan in general terms and make final decisions at the last minute.
In early January I will be attending an event at the Del Coronado in San Diego and will be spending a couple nights in LA as well. Need to choose a hotel for that part of the trip. Also in January we have a large convention/ Trade show in Nashville at the Opryland Hotel This seems like a good excuse for a stay at the Hermitage^
NYC in the spring details pending....
Seattle with a possible side trip to Vancouver in July. Thinking FS for both.
Other possible quick trips as time and schedule permit.
Chicago ....PEN?
DC....FS OR RCGT?
New England/Nantucket or Martha's vineyard in the fall.
January 2011 MIA
Mid 2011 London, Paris and?????
As always plans are subject to change

m.photog RCGT is great if you get a suite facing Wisconsin Avenue. In regards to FS I find it has a decent location, but odd rooms. I'll be in Hawaii next week:
Fairmont Orchid on the Big Island
St Regis Princeville
Grand Hyatt Kauai

Thanks for your input! The RCGT is just a few blooks from FS, correct?

RCGT
Yes they are quite close at least for someone who walks and runs regularly. 15 minutes at most for someone in decent health. RCGT was having confirmed bookings to a suite a while back via a Virtuoso agent might be worth investigating.

Just back from a weekend in the hotel arts in Barcelona.
Heading to Cairo [four Seasons Nile plaza] and New York before Xmas [The W union square...don't hit me for that one Vuittons ]
Many plans for next year [we'll be dead long enough.. and aren't members of an expensive golf club ] but nothing firmly booked yet.

Zermatt in February. Hotel Riffelalp to be precise.
Fantastic place. Stayed there this summer and it beats pretty much everything around if you can live the fact that you live 800 meters above Zermatt, right on the slopes, and have to take a train (or ski obviously) down to the village.

Ooops, almost forgot that I am planning our honey moon for October 2010. My future wife would not be very happy if she read this...
Singita Boulders, SA or Wilderness Safaris Mombo, Botswana then on to North Island, Seychelles.
You can help me decide by chcking out my threat I just created in this forum!
Also Chennai, India sometime 2010. Not sure yet how or where to stay. Probably nothing fancy because of the purpose of the trip.
