I've heard Rosewood Bangkok will be very exciting. They're hiring an HR director then looking for the right GM.

Munich . A very pleasant surprise indeed.
When will the Amsterdam property be announced I wonder or has it been abandoned or stuck with the heritage / conservation department?
Is Rosewood expanding too fast ?

Isn't Rome in the works too?

I don't know Edinburgh will stay.

I think so. They also recently created a business leisure second brand.

Do you all think it's worth staying at a Rosewood for only 3 days/2 nights, especially if it's for a newcomer to the brand? Thinking about doing a quick jaunt to Rosewood Las Ventanas in cabo for a weekend trip..

thanks!

Why not? How should it be connected with the brand?

Rosewood Hotels and Resorts

A general thread for Rosewood. A place to post news, openings, offers and the like.

For example, the Rosewood Miramar in Montecito next door to Santa Barbara, on the beach. Opening this year, it is said. I expect rates will be through the roof but the descriptive verbiage foretells a splendid new luxury resort in the U.S. Yay.

Excited about the Rosewood properties in Cambodia. Can´t wait to check them out.

A continent away, just stayed in a second category suite (forgot the exact name, looking it up) at the Rosewood London and was blown away on every level.

The Carlyle is the only RW property I´ve tried where I left feeling ´meh´, but overall, love this brand.

It's an interesting brand.

We are wild about their Las Ventanas al Paraiso in Cabo where we book a villa. Realistically, however, for us it only makes sense to do so in low season.

Meanwhile, there are two properties close to home that have zip appeal for us. The Rosewood Sand Hill (Menlo Park, CA -- Venture Capital Central) is situated next to the 280 Freeway and really has nothing to recommend it other than the spa which is quite good. Their Madera restaurant has a Michelin star but I can't think why. Have been disappointed there half-a-dozen times.

A bit further south is its golf resort, Rosewood CordeValle, south of San Jose. Its tag line proclaims "Country Club Charm." EEK. Nothing else here, nothing else to do, nada; just golf.

I am, so far, most interested in their Mexican properties. Hoping to book Mayakoba this year. There is a new Nayarit offering (near Puerto Vallarta) to open in 2020 if the date does not slip.

One of my favorites is Rosewood San Miguel de Allende. The destination is on my favorites list, too. The residences are ideal for a short multi-gen getaway. We're taking our children, their spouses and a grandchild there in the late spring - their first time in San Miguel.

Is there a reason we wouldn't just using the existing thread, quite literally titled, "Rosewood Hotels and Resorts?"
Rosewood Hotels and Resorts
