They have a new GM who came from HK and Morocco. As far as I remember, the rooms were never renovated but they did update suite product about 8 years ago. Four Seasons on 57th remains closed. If you are willing to go downtown / tribeca I'd look into Fouquets over the 4 you mentioned (gotta like toile)
