If you want something smaller, you might want to consider the Soniat House in the FQ or the new Hotel Saint Vincent in the Lower Garden District.

The Columns in the Garden District on St. Charles

And, as long as you’re Uptown, don’t miss brunch at Commander’s Palace and a coffee freeze at the Camellia Grill.

Soniat appears closed. No availability for any day for the rest of the year. Thank you, though!

The Windsor Court is my favorite hotel in NOLA. Haven't stayed at the Fours Seasons though but the WC is in a better location in my opinion.

On the banks of the Mississippi at the river end of Canal Street. It’s a 36-story high-rise which puts me off a bit.
For reference, I posted my FT review of FS NOLA...
Four Seasons New Orleans

The hotel rooms are on floors 6-18. 19+ are residences.
