Perth +4, Dibeen +X

Gallivanter's is sadly twittering, that Aman Perth will likely need 4 more years to complete.

And that Aman Dibeen, Jordan, will be delayed indefinitely. So I have to downgrade it to speculative/vaporware in the threadstarter...

I personally hope that at least Portugal, Greece, Penang and Vietnam will succeed soon!

Out of those, Ed Tuttle's Greek Aman is the one that's powering ahead.

Am pleased that from 5 Sep, Sean F will be responsible for Indonesia from ' Nusa ' and Mark S who moved from Summer Palace , will takeover in ' Jiwo '. While Monty moves to Hawaii to cover developments in that direction.

Hana Maui has a new owner and name already as I too was hoping Amanresorts to come in and make it wonderful. Nice to hear Sean is back at Amanusa as Area GM as this is where he was chef when he came to Amanresorts. The Thai restaurant should be great once he is on property.

Yes, foundation was well laid but it's good anyway with Hamish helming the team - some old hands too e.g. Budi with the pastries. Perhaps he ' ll be guest chef for some of us , Amanjunkies

To get back on topic for this thread...I thought I'd posted this before but as it's current news here's a link to the masterplan for Comporta (Amanduna) :

40 suites and 36 villas.
