I think Seoul could use 2 of these for the luxury high-end hotel market but not all of them. The market is not as brimming great as Mr. Smith makes it seem.
"What we are missing in Korea is more luxury hotels. We will probably grow more select services in normal hotels and that is easy. But we don't see there are enough very high-end hotels. I think we are looking for opportunities to bring back a Ritz-Carlton hotel and a W hotel and bring a Bulgari hotel and a St. Regis hotel," Smith said.

Westin Paris Vendome to become Jumeirah in 2020 after $1 billion renovation
https://www.forbes.com/sites/douggol.../#246af9ab711f
While talk is cheap, he notes that late last year Jumeirah joined with Henderson Park to acquire the Westin Vendome in Paris, which sometime in 2022 will become a Jumeirah. Between the purchase and renovation, the partners will spend about $1 billion with interior designer Tristan Auer (Hotel de Crillon, The Cotton House, Courchevel 1850) leading the way. Silva also wants to come back to the United States.

I've had this hotel on my list for ages and am planning to go next year. Yet with an offer this good, I wonder how thoroughly they'll check if I'm a woman....
