I gather that auction theory is not your strongest point...

Are the RIMOWA amenity kits getting loaded despite the strike? Some have said no, yet others talk about receiving them. And I have FTers eager to help me distribute my as yet not received ones.

The strike is over, so catering should be back to normal soon. You can fully expect to have amenity kits during your upcoming LH F flights.

Do not bet on it as even before the strike there were several flights ex MUC that only offered a blue Bogner kit.

Cheers

Thank God the strike is over. Any idea how long these will be around for? I can't wait to get one, but my flight in F from FRA-MCO isn't for another 6 weeks. What are my chances?

On ebay some of them get sold with prices in the 80s... Crazy!

We only received Business Class Amenity kit in F on LH 419 from IAD-FRA this morning... so no RIMOWA amenity yet.

I was on an ex MUC and I got the old kit. I think the issue is that they have just not changed over at MUC yet, perhaps they have more stock of the Bogner kits?

Due to some issues on the way back from HKG on Friday - I used national glory (and ended up with a Bally kit) - I can not answer what is to and from Muc - but will rvert back Monday week when en route to GRU with return the same week..

Cheers

I still don't understand what all the fuss is about ? SQ had much nicer kits in the past too.
I have an entire closet at home in my cellar (somewhere) which is full of F amenity kits. If I can sell them off at €80 a go, I could probably pay for a full fare F ticket ...

You should give it a try

I am sure there are enough people out there that will pay an unreasonable price.
