My mistake , I confused the flight numbers, I mean LH 452 of course, with final destination LAX!

LH 458 does not even have F AFAIK.

Rain near Duesseldorf, and it is very windy, thus no golf today. Bremen-Munich 1:0.

Excatly! That's why I was wondering why you'd ever set foot on that plane.

Just relaxing in Santa Ponca, having a San Miguel and reading FT with blue sky around at probably 25 C.
But I have to return early tomorrow to make it in time for the final hockey game Dssseldorf vs. Cologne.
So I hope the sky above Dsseldorf will clear up.

Regards,
Karsten

Isn't FT nice, you immediately know where your (virtual and real) friends are and what they are doing. ^^^

Bremen is still up 1:0. Not a great match. I rather watch the Spurs-Mavericks Basketball game now which I have on tape.

Heavy rain now, dark sky, aweful.

I'm sorry to hear.

Have a great remaining flight anyway. ^

If it iss just about the weather, I can also recommend Dallas ...... If it is also about the city, you better go to LAX.... It is a bit overcast this morning here in DFW but we had a beautiful day yesterday and it is suppost to clear up later today..... I am already looking forward to a dip in the pool, followed by a barbecue and a couple of beers..........

Cheers, Stefan

Great. How do you plan to transport the open bottle? Or did they leave the

SAN is quite nice as well. I just got up and can't really find clouds. Well 20 and sun is probably the perfect weather for the round of golf later on. Will return via LAX on monday and let you know if weather changed.

now is this force majeur?

Forgive me folks for hijacking the thread back to its original topic for a minute:

After some discussion with the SEN desk, LH returned to the view that the
cancellations were weather related. It wasn't the weather between FRA and
AMS but high winds whose delays caused them not to have enough birdies in
FRA and hence they had to cancel my flights to AMS.
Now as stated KLM flew that day without interruption (which I have in written)
and hence my pov was that I do not accept the weather card. Can they
really argue Force Majeur when the route in question is not subject to that
higher force?
Can they really dump all the blame on me for the fact that somewhere else
the sky wasn't as nice as LH likes it to be?
Does anyone know where to address this issue?

Thomas, where are you going to play golf near SAN ??

I can recommend Meadows Del Mar (now named the Grand Club http://www.thegrandgolfclub.com), Four Seasons Aviara, Maderas, Steele Canyon (good value, a little east of SAN, a bit warmer than on the coast). Torrey Pines is overcrowded.

DFW was indeed very nice this week, sunny and comfortably warm.

They left the cap on. After all, this is F.

Just checked: Bottle is still there.

Of course, just in case, I brought a replacement cap.

From your last flight?
Or does it belong to your standard flight equipment?
