D-ABVE had been crossed out in the first thread since it (along with a few other 744s not yet retrofitted) was parked during the winter. Now that the summer timetable has started all 744s (with the exception of D-ABVD?) appear to be back in service.

New First class retrofit thread
Hi all.
I'll be on LH765 on Friday (early) morning. When I booked it showed a 333. Safe bet, I thought.
Just checked on the app now and it has been switched to a 343. I know my straight odds are now 50/50, but does anyone know which plane might be flying this route?
I'm guessing a change of equipment means this doesn't look good...

Anyone have pics of a new A343 or 333 with new first class? I'm assuming these look the same as to what's on the A380 and 747-8i?

I assume you are traveling on friday the 5th.? According to the flight status function on lufthansa.com your flight will be served with a 340-300 with the new first product. They are usually right, but there might be an last minute aircraft change.

@oneeyejack: do a google search or an a-net search and you will find plenty of pictures ^

Hi,

I do not have pictures but I can confirm that the F seat on the A333 looks the same as on the A380, and I guess also on the A343.

I only have experience of new F on the A380 but I understand the main differences are: the size of the monitor, the size of the bathrooms, and availability of personal closets.

It you go to lufthansa.com. Use the flight status function to find your flight, and then check the information under additional options and flight status.

Great function when your flight is max 6 days ahead ^

Found it now. I'd been using the info via the app which is missing that vital "neue / new" part!
A little odd that the row letters don't match up when choosing seats though...

D-AIHT is back, but only with a set of new F seats, no new C. D-AIHL was moved to MUC.

LH has listed D-AIGB/C/D for sale here:

Yup, and D-AIHU is down in MLA for its maintenance check and new F retrofit.
