Just off LH790 MUC/SIN. Delighted on boarding to find it was D-AIFE so I got the new First. Excellent crew. Food generally good (althought the duck breast was too chewy). Only complaint about the seat is that it was a bit too hard. All in all a pleasant way to spend 11 hours in the air.

Does anyone know if they will be shifting some MUC based birds to FRA for the summer schedule? I will be flying YVR-FRA in April and am curious which A340-600 they will stick on that route (i.e. hopefully one with the new F!). Currently, the route is 2 class A343. Any ideas?

No. The logic is that if you can spend 4000+€ for the flight you can afford 19€ for wifi

One way

Of course using US Air miles you could do it for 8-900$ return, but lets not get too picky....

D-AIHW left HAM yesterday and returned to service today flying down to GRU, it's another MUC based bird.

Well - with Aeroplan, you could do it for a quarter of that, so fair enough

Thanks for the update. I'll let NewbieRunner update his summary.

Do you know which is next?

Yes it's an A343 this time but it hasn't been ferried up to HAM yet so I'm not 100% certain, will update by tomorrow or the day after.

I think oliver2002 is referring to the cost of purchasing the miles (without having to actually fly US ) + fees, without any YQ (which Aeroplan charges now).

Does Aeroplan sell miles?

Anyways, good news that the refit proceeds apace. 2015 isn't so far off now...

I got 100 000 US Air miles for 621$ this fall using the grand slam promo, thats my benchmark Buying that amount from US air is a little more expensive, but reasonably priced too. No YQ for LH operated redemptions on US Air award tix.
