Yowza! Yowza! Yowza! Millionaire Status!

After four months, a very detailed dossier of all missing flights (I forwarded actual boarding passes, signed certificates from flight attendants on every missing flight, photos of us in front of boarding gates, and photos of flight attendants certifying that we were on board), and several calls to LatinPass, I finally spoke with Jessie (quite skilled) who informed me that the manager just wanted to verify my hotel stays.
I faxed in the receipts for the Holiday Inn and Fairfield Inn stays, and in a few hours was informed that I am now a mileage MILLIONAIRE.
My travel partner followed suit - had to verify his car rentals - and has also joined the MILLIONAIRE club.
Now, all that is left is to figure a way to use the miles.

My sentiments exactly!! Friday I was told that my million would post at 5p.m. their time, so I should be Orinda's latest millionaire! (o.k., so it's not dollars-I'll take a million of anything!) Once again; Yowza! And thanks to everyone here at FT for contributions and advice!

Well, I'm happy for you Jailer and surely will miss the million miles I could have earned!
But I sure won't miss the aggravation!
That's why I never went after they pulled the new signup deadline and simultaneous website failure!
Enjoy using the miles!

My Avianca flight finally posted! SIX MONTHS after the fact! The receipt for the ticket was stolen in my backpack in Bogota. Avianca never billed my credit card, so I couldn't get the ticket number. Travelocity couldn't issue a copy of the receipt without the ticket number. Avianca couldn't verify the flight without the ticket number. I was in catch 22. Many letters and E-mails produced no results. But now Avianca finally posted! I can't believe it. See you in Quito!

LP told me today they would post my 500K miles tomorrow. FINALLY. Will check tomorrow and see if they are there. Trip taken end of April. Documentation sent in mid-July.
Now I need to decide if I can use them.

Six months after my flight for the million miles I'm still waiting for postings. I've sent in the documentation for everyhting but it doesn't all show on my statement. Has anybody else had it take this long?

P.S. What's this "premium pass" thing? What's involved, and is it worth it?

I finished all my required activity in late June, and submitted all my originals on July 27th. Friday, Jessie @ LP confirmed that everything was verified, and my million would post within a week !

I submitted receipts and boarding passes in late June (trip was early April). Everything was posted about a month ago with the exception of Avis/MIA. Finally, it posted Friday.
I called LP today and was told the bonus would post in "2-3 weeks."
A friend who took the trip in May has already had his bonus post. Seems he made lots of calls and wouldn't take NO for an answer. I guess the squeaky wheel does get the grease....

Does LatinPass have to hear directly from the airline/hotel/rental agency, even if you send in all the required documentation?

Yes, Latin Pass does have to "verify" every item that doesn't post... that is, they send the documents electronically to the company in question and wait for an answer. Avis is notorious for slow answering, which combined with LP's slow sending in the verifications produces endless delay. I am waiting for one Avis posting, for which I sent the documents in July.
Nevertheless, it gives me hope to see some postings of the bonus reported here. I really enjoyed going for the 500k, enjoyed and was impressed by the airlines. But I can't say I have enjoyed calling for 14 weeks to be told "call again next week" when inquiring about one Avis posting.
