Postings to LP?
 

I called LP and my Avis is posted!! 350 miles (7days x 50). Rental was about 60 days ago. I hope hotel is done soon. As I just finished the air travel, would expect to wait until June.

I saw a posting in Who's Going (new) where late March flights have been posted.

Flying Dutchman: Didn't you have yours done by mid March? What has been posted to your account so far?

If anyone else has info on when things are being posted, please advise.

SAPMAN - When I last checked, the only non-airline partner activity that had posted was my Holiday Inn (Costa Rica) stay. No such luck with Hilton, Inter-Continental, or Thrifty. I sent an e-mail to LatinPass yesterday enquiring about account activity and haven't gotten a response yet, but I will let you know when it comes in.

As far as flights, Aeropostal and TWA posted almost immediately. Taca was a bit later. When LatinPass e-mails me, I'll let you know if anything else has posted.

Could you please note how you are checking to see if your stays/flights have posted with Latin Pass? Thank you.

Unfortunately, for us (and them because they're probably being inundated), I believe the only ways you can do it are by telephone with an agent or to wait for your statement.

I took LP 500K trip 28-30 April. Have Avianca, Aces, Lacsa, and Taca posted. Thrifty and Avis also posted (done in early April). http://216.167.74.240/forum/smile.gif

Since I’m leaving for my ½ million mile run Wednesday, thought I’d check my LP account. I’m the proud recipient of 150 LP miles, based on a St. Louis Avis rental. Hotels and TWA from the same trip (4/6 to 4/9) still hadn’t hit. Glad to see that something has posted, however. LP said to expect 6 weeks for something to post, and that they will honor receipts and will credit everything with “no problems”. The LP agent sounded confident and like she had answered this posting question about ½ million times.

As of Friday, everything has posted except a MEX Hilton stay. Interestingly, they have not credited the first 100k even though all of the requirements for that bonus level have been met.

I assume they are not posting any of the bonus miles until after the 1 July end date, rather than in increments. Considering the multiple requirements, that may be reasonable.

FD - Were your postings all done automatically or did they use your documentation to post some? Or do you know?

I am going to check what is posted about 5 June and then send in documents for what has not posted. Certified and, perhaps, witnessed and noterized.

If anyone has had Radisson or US Air posted, please advise as to how long it took.

I called LP this morning to check my account.

My Courtyard stay (04.04.00-04.05.00) and my Avis rental (03.24.00-03.26.00) have posted! I am still waiting for my TW flights (04.04.00 and 04.05.00), Avis rental (04.21.00-04.22.00), and Marriott stay (04.24.00-04.26.00)to get credited.

Off to Latin America on Wednesday, 05.17.00, for the 500K mileage run.

I did my run the last weekend of March.
I am waiting for Copa to post...NickB was on the same flight and his posted 3 weeks ago.
I am also waiting for Avianca.
1 Hilton posted within 3 weeks, Avis posted fast.

I sent originals of my USAir, COPA and Avianca flights. Certified return receipt. It really me uncomfortable to have to send originals.
I just want to know for sure that everything has posted before the end of June just in case I'm thrown a curve ball.

500,000 Mile Bonus Promotion

Dear Ms. Batton:

On April 11, 2000, I sent the enclosed letter (and original supporting documents) to LatinPass in support of my request for 500,000 bonus miles under the terms of the current LatinPass promotion. On April 24, you responded to my letter, stating in relevant part, "Under the established procedures by the LatinPass Frequent Traveler program you must allow 4 to 6 weeks from the day of travel for the mileage to be posted to your account."

It is now almost ten weeks since my six required flights on the LatinPass member airlines. Yesterday, a LatinPass telephone representative informed me that all of the flights, car rentals and hotel stays required for the 500,000 mile bonus have posted to my LatinPass account, with the exception of my March 11 and 12 flights on Aviateca, Copa and Avianca. Because LatinPass is already in possession of the original boarding passes and ticket receipts for these missing flights, I would respectfully request that I receive immediate credit for these flights, and that the 500,000 mile bonus be posted to my account by no later than June 1, 2000.

Please contact me immediately if, for any reason, you are unwilling or unable to post the bonus to my account by that date.

Upgrade Me : Nice letter. When did you fax it to LP? Please let us know the response. I guess you should be happy if they just get all the requirements posted and not too concerned when they post the Bonus miles - as I suspect they may not do any until 1 July.

I guess I have not heard on anyone with all postings complete, although FD is only missing a hotel stay.

The letter was faxed yesterday. I'll follow up by phone at the end of the coming week.

LP has stated on multiple occasions that once all the requirements are met, the bonus will post ASAP. I want to know prior to July 1 that I have fulfilled all of the bonus requirements to LP's satisfaction, and I will not tolerate being told to wait until July 1 for the bonus, and risk hearing on July 2 that one of my flights did not qualify for one reason or another.

Moreover, my LP travel companion hopes to send his mother to Europe on KLM in August. No bonus = no trip for mom.

As I posted in the other LatinPass thread, my bonus miles have posted but my companion's have not. FWIW.

So the mother of UpgradeMe's travel companion just may be able to go to Europe after all! (Assuming all of the recent bonus-flyers don't overwhelm LatinPass any more than they've already been.)

With regards to the Aces VX520 flight from LIM-UIO-BOG. I had the two segments ticketed separately, but received the single boarding pass. LP showed only the single flight from LIM-BOG in their system, but when I explained I had two separate flight coupons, they told me to send copies of them in and they would change it in their system.
