I am sitting in an apex seat on a 789 right now and I dont feel any tightness at all. Of course if you put your backpack next to you then it will be tight. I dont need bunch of storage. They are nice to have but a tapered footwell is a deal killer for me. Thats why I dont like the QSuite and even the old CX F seat. I probably wont like the new JAL J seat either. If it has the same issue. I just cant lie down comfortably if my feet are pushing against the walls.

According to this article, there will be a total of 7 A350-1000s delivered by the end of this year: https://www.flightglobal.com/airline...155743.article (alternate link https://archive.is/BWibs)
Perhaps two more routes this year if these are all delivered on schedule? The total number of FC seats for sale out of ORD seems sort of odd, starting in September the only day with 7 FC seats available is Friday. LHR stops selling 7 FC seats starting in November. So if I had to take a guess, ORD and LHR will be the next routes.
I was selfishly hoping for LAX, but it makes sense that JAL wants to put this plane on the longer routes first.
