Just to kick start a wiki, with answers to frequent questions.
1. We're flying HND-NGO-HNL. NGO-HNL is booked in business class, but HND-NGO is in economy. Will we still get the baggage allowance as if we're flying business class the whole way?
A: Yes. written here (link)
2. We're flying HND-NGO-HNL. Will we have lounge access in HND?
A. Definitely, within the lounge access rules of course. written here (link)

If the booking class qualifies for accrual then yes. I am not sure what class RTW tickets book in to.

Not sure where to ask this - but when I tried to log in to select seats for a domestic leg of an international itinerary on JAL, I get the following message (see below). However, I fly before the system "resumes" service. Does that mean I have to figure it out at the gate? I am traveling with a child, so I don't want to risk having to sit separate.

Hi! Quick question, is it possible for me to book a one-way award flight on JMB partner airlines e.g. Air France via the online portal? Can I also redeem the award flight for another person?

Edit: Weird, some flights don't appear via the award search... would I still be able to check if I were to call them up? Thanks! Redeeming my first award flight so I dunno the procedures hahah

Does JMB allow one-way award flights to be booked, does it need to be under my name or if the itineraries aren't available via the portal but I've seen it on e.g. AwardNexus, can I book via the call centre?

Not sure if anyone has gone thru something similar, appreciate any comments! I did do some research.. only found that award flights cannot make changes to the name (which isn't what I wanted to know).

So sorry if they seem to be stupid questions!

What is up with JAL's HND-LHR Flight (JL043)? It seems to be only bookable into J class, even 150 days out. It also does not show at all for award redemption (not even blacked out, just not shown at all). Thanks!

I can book it no problem. For revenue bookings, are you using JAL'S homepage? If so,note that cheapest option are often only available on BA metal with JL flight number. Try choosing a higher price bracket.
