I got a second match but the status was not extended to 01/24. So this seemed not to work.

I might have gotten a second match as well by e-mailing. My app says 12-04-2022 Punti Status Match in Latest Activities. I'm hoping for the validity to change at some point. If not, nothing to lose with contacting ITA and asking.

Those are "qualifying" points. The actual points balance is still 0. I assume the qualifying points are just how they bumped up the status. What's interesting is that presumably this means someone who status matched to "premium" and got 60k could qualify for executive by earning just the 30k differential.

I don't really understand why they have an "accelerator" for spending on higher fare classes. Surely the assumption is those fares are more expensive but the earning is already per-€ so this is counter-productive. It means e.g. people spending more on flexible economy fares earn less than they would if they spent less on inflexible business fares. I guess I'm not smart enough to understand the

Thanks The Post Office sent a notification to me this morning so I had to collect it myself from the nearest mail service center. It was a registered mail.

My situation is somewhat similar. After completing the on-line status match application, I received this email:
Status Match Confirmation
Dear XXXXX,
thank you for sending us your request to join the Status Match campaign in the ITA Airways Volare program. We are sorry to inform you that your request was not successful since your documentation is incomplete. Therefore, we invite you:
- to verify that your attached loyalty card is valid, legible and in pdf or jpg format
- to verify that your identity card is valid, legible and in pdf or jpg format
- to send your request again to [email protected].
Best regards,
ITA Airways
Status Match Team
*Script to be used only in the event of a change to an open case (i.e., sending further documentation because it is incomplete), the customer can complete the request using the status match email.
I've resent clear images of both my AA Platinum card (from iPhone app) and my passport. That was two weeks ago. No response of any kind yet, and no change in status after logging in to ITA Volare.
Still waiting....
