As there is no Club at this hotel, no free breakfast. But it's a short drive to Norm's!

A good flyertalker should take photos of every room and suite he stays at.
Have you noticed that IC now is named At Berverly Hills, which is definitely better that Century City alone, but does not solve the issue of its (poor) location if you have no car.

What a shame.

And yes I noticed the name change. Not that it means much to regular travelers. The house car still exists though and will take you to Beverly Hills for your shopping.

Here you can see photos of the renovated rooms. The photo with the brown L-shaped couch and round table is the suite I was in.

Well glad to see they are updating it as it was very tired even if well maintained. As we usually have a car when in LA the location does not bother us that much. Will be back in 2016 then.

What's the best method to inform the hotel of your AMB status ie Rewards number.
I have an upcoming booking made via British Airways.
I'm aware I'm not entitled to the usual Amb perks on a 3rd party booking, but if there a slim chance of my status being recognised it would be better done in advance.

I stayed here for two nights in September, one night on points and another using a credit card free night. I got a one level upgrade and the room was newly renovated with a good view so more than happy.
The Westfield shopping centre a few minutes walk away is good for picking up supplies instead of using the mini bar and there's also some nice restaurants for a decent meal. One night we ate in the food court and the Korean place which serves in a scorching hot bowl in a wooden frame was excellent and cheap to boot!
I think it was $40 a night for the valet parking but this was kind of off-set by the upgrade so I didn't mind too much. There is parking for about $20 opposite Westfield but I didnt want to make another trip to the car.
Overall the stay was excellent, recognised status (I'm not even an ambassador!) and it's next to the Nakatomi building from Die Hard. What's not to like :-D
