That's definitely a shame to lose another IC in North America though of course, we are in unprecedented times.

I wouldn't be entirely shocked if they demolish and redevelop it.
The ceilings in both the guest rooms and the smaller function rooms are exceedingly low. Like claustrophobically low. As a result, it felt very outdated when I was there about five years ago, and low ceilings can't be changed.
Low 1980s ceilings are the reason the St Regis directly across Olympic was also demolished. They had to build a new structure when it was converted to condos, the old structure wasn't usable.

This was 75% of my reason to keep Ambassador
This was my go to hotel since it was the Park Hyatt and later the IC
I will sorely miss this property and the way the team took great care of me.A terrible loss if so
