Or maybe its just because IHG has 100x the number of properties in China than anywhere else in Asia.

I'm trying to book CP Jerusalem. They have disabled reward bookings for all the nights I am trying.

Edit: They have disabled all reward bookings till after PB list is over. Smart property I guess. Now is HIGH season.

Was thinking of doing the cash & points ($60+5K) but instead booked (Friends & Family refundable rate) Park Inn. Will cancel that.

For 15K pts (and no cash ), a nice deal. ^
I thought Friends & Family rate is NON REFUNDABLE??

Park Inn is a Radisson brand, they have their own F&F scheme.

PointsBreaks

The new list looks pretty good to me, possibly Indonesia the optimum pick.

I have booked Cambridge UL for a leisure weekend.

F&F is refundable if your cc has not yet been charged or if the hotel is kind enough.

We'll have a car so finding them is not a problem and parking is free unlike city hotels. We just use them as a base to tour the area and the properties are usually quieter due to them being out of town. Southampton HIX good for the coast and the New Forest, Gloucester HIX good for the Cotswolds and the Cambridge HI is near a park n ride into town.

So alright with a car not so much without one.

Booked 5 RA nights in Jakarta, and 2 nights at HI Beijing, temple of heaven ( a 10 minute walk away, and a pleasant park). Stayed 1 night in May, and hotel is acceptable.
