Bonus points packages

Hello guys,
Anyone have confirmation if bonus point packages also get multiplied or is it only the base points for this 4x offer?

They don't, or at least the official count-as-qualifying-points ones don't.

From a recent stay:

Total Earned 9,671
Base Points 1,668
Elite Bonus Points 1,668
Bonus Point Packages 3,000
Up To 4X - 3x for 3rd Stay 3,335

So, the Elite Bonus Points only is to multiply x 2/3/4 ?

No, it is the Base Points that get multiplied 2X, 3X or 4X.

Damn
Same here. Just had my 3rd stay in the past 10 days post and no bonus points on any of them.

Did you manage to get yours resolved? I've entered the communication hell of IHG CS, so will see what gets spat out.

If you didn't get the bonus points then check the rate you paid. Your stay needs to be more than US$30 to qualify.

Not many hotels less than US$30 I guess, but I threw in a mattress run at the HIX Bali Raya Kuta last weekend at US$24 for the night. When I didn't get the 2X points I was expecting I re-read the rules and saw that the qualifying minimum spend is US$30.

These stays have been in the range of £150 / $200 per night and standard published rates via the IHG app, so shouldn't be an issue on that basis. Good reminder on cheap rates though.

Edited to add that the points updated about 48 hours later on the existing stay credits. A 3rd stay since then posted correctly with 3x points

Not sure if I've missed the answer, but:

My next stay gets the 4x points and it's for a half decent cash price, so should yield quite a few.

Is this 4x bonus a one off bonus or will every stay trigger it?
Need to book something in the next day or two before that stay and don't want to get a one-off 4x points on a £50 stay when I could get it on £500.

Just had my 4th stay posted under the promotion. This one was actually booked before the promotion started.
27k base points, 27k Spire bonus and 81k 4x for 4th stay bonus. Lovely.

I had actually booked 3 1 night weekend trips after registering for the promotion to get this stay (and the Jan stay) boosted to 4x: well worth the money to do so. Also turns out that the weekend trips also triggered 20k of the Q4 Accelerate program bonuses so even better.

With 2020 (and soon to be 2021) Spire status locked in and a healthy points balance - some good leisure trips to be had in 2020/21!

Alliance Resorts IC Venetian/Palazzo

I'm wondering the same thing. These properties are unique in that you earn 2000 base points no matter what your spend. I'm on my second stay (a little late to the game) and seeing this:
Base Points 2000
Elite Bonus Points 2000
Double Your Stay 2000
Up To 4X - 2x for 2nd Stay 2000

So 2x is not supposed to be 4000?

Also waiting for the IC promo of 3K per stay, as well as if they'll give me the same thing for my 2nd and 3rd nights--switching between Venetian and Palazzo.

2x is supposed to be 4000 when combined with base ( 2k + 2k) , if it was 3x and your third stay then it would have been 4k bonus. I do think the wording is a bit confusing.

If I were to use the Ambassador certificate for a weekend night assume I'd still pickup the points multiplier based on that (inflated) rate?
