I saw the post earlier about corporate rate. I'm in the same boat too. I have never had a corporate rate but my offer requires two corporate rates nights

One of my offers is that I get 1000 points when I redeem points for anything. My question is - if I do a cash + points stay, will that count for this "earn when you redeem" task?

I'm trying to combine as many tasks into one stay as possible. And if they would accept points+cash as a "redemption" then that would be great. Any thoughts? I apologize if this was already asked.

When I had that task, I email ihg to say I did not have a corporate code and had never used one before, they came back and said get one from your accounts/finance dept, told ihg I didn't travel for business, they then said if you complete the other tasks we will mark that as completed

I rarely stay with IHG (typically only when I am in a remote part of the country that only has HIX, etc), so I'm fine with these offers.

A pretty easy 60k or so for me:

1. Stay once: 2,000 - already booked.

2. Stay 8 nights: 12,000 - 6 nights already booked, wil definitely stay at least 2 more.

3. 3 app bookings: 3,500 - done.

4. 3 weekends: 8,800 - maybe - one booked already.

5. 3 countries: 17,600 - already booked.

6. $90 F&B: 1,000 - beer (enough said).

7. 1 redemption: 1,000 - already booked (Pointbreak)

6 out of 7: 17,000 bonus. All except #4 are sure things.

Bonus: Stay once in September for 5,000.

Would it really be too cheeky to ask if my Pointbreak stay in Grenoble in September will earn its 5,000 points back?

I'm sorry if this has already been answered elsewhere, I have checked this thread and a previous Accelerate one without success, but please could anyone advise me if they know how the ambassador complimentary weekend night certificates are treated?

From the T&C I am confident that the first night would count unless they've categorised the AMB rate as non-qualifying? My assumption is that they won't count the 2nd night because they will consider it to be non-qualifying, even though I think by strict legalese it should.

Has anyone got any experience they could help me by sharing, or know the definitive answer?

Reward nights are reward nights regardless if they are Ambassador use or not. IHG counts reward nights as qualifying nights for status (per the new terms) but not towards any promos.

I don't think I'm going to go out of my way on this one. I might do two nights in HIXs which should net me 47,000 points if I find a reason to stay in one of the six major markets. Otherwise it's just 26,400 points.

No. Stay once, get 3000 points would require a full revenue stay. You can do a full revenue one night stay and it should trigger that and September stay though.

Cash and points should only trigger Cash and points bonus. It shouldn't even count as part of the 7 nights for 14k points, nor for the Weekend stay.
