As of last Fall, yes, still champagne in the lounge & given access as Spire.

Data point as to Spire benefits. I emailed the hotel to ask make sure they provide us separate twin beds in rooms that I had booked by IHG points. Below is what I got as response.
I cannot comment on the stay since we ended up cancelling this res and I booked the cheaper Hilton instead.

Very interesting. Spire Amb here. Booked one night on points, 2 nights paid. Did not ask the hotel anything. Did not contact them.
They have contacted me with:
"Taking into consideration your IHG membership, we would like to remind you the different benefits you can enjoy during your stay with us:
*Late check-out until 14.00h (subject to availability)
*Turndown services with special details for the night
*Special rate to access the SPA (18€ instead of 25€)
*15% discount of the El Mall Restaurant menu

Nothing about room upgrades.
Stay is this weekend.

Alas Amb counts for zip outside of ICs...
When I followed up, they said:

Rest assured that we will do all our best to accomodate your preferences
