hi guys! New traveler looking to enjoy & live a full life for the rest of my 20s.

I am going to a wedding in China. I want to study Martial arts at a Shaolin school. This i will achieve.

However I can not find a flight cheaper than $1700, my friend wants me to stop into South Korea with her. This is $400 more. Even as a layover it's not worth it, I don't have time & money.

Should I just book the cheapest flight I could find now or wait?

There are still so many q's...

Hello everyone! Just found this site yesterday when trying to locate more information on the Delta SkyMiles and how to speed up my Medallion status progress.

You would think that being in Hawaii and flying (out of state) every couple months I'd have lots of miles with an airline already. That's not the case right now but out of all the airlines the military presents to me for travel options, Delta has appeared as the leader at this point. I will be looking for ways to maximize my travel mileage, dollars, and segments for the best possible outcome.

New member here, trying to get educated on mileage/points programs/cards, to utilize to the fullest to get the biggest benefit.

I also started re-building my credit from a divorce, taking me a bit, from secured cards, to unsecured 300 limit to know moving up to the CSP card, which I was surprised I got. My hard work has paid off in getting all the past behind me.

I eventually want to move up to the United Mileage card, but for now CSP is working for me. I also added my daughter to build her credit history. (She is not the typical college student in wanting to make a bf of debt, she lives a frugal life, saving for her brand new for her car and down payment on a house for when she is done with college).

Been lurking for a few months but finally joined yesterday. Based in RIC.

Traveled overseas quite a bit in college and for a couple of years after but changing jobs and taking on more responsibility prevented me from dropping off the face of the earth for long periods. Things have freed up some and I've got the bug again. Hopefully I'll get a couple of trips in before the end of the year.
