Hello

Hello!

My names SungHwan. I finally made the jump to participate in the community and would love to learn some more!

I moved back to the States about a month ago from South Korea and in between I traveled to Japan for 1 week & Los Angeles for 4 days. I loved Japan's Shinkansen bullet train and the airline travels so much. Can't wait to travel some more for less price :D I like Alaska Airlines (Staying in Seattle) and Hilton!

By the way, if anyone wants to go use the bullet train in Japan, I suggest purchasing the ticket outside of the country for a greater discount. I purchased mine for 270,000 KRW (About 260$) for 1 week unlimited bullet train rides.

Yup--the JR pass is a fantastic deal! I did that in 2012 and it saved a ton of money. Gotta arrange it before you leave, though--it can only be done outside of Japan.

Hello, i'm 21 and i live in Italy but i travel pretty often to Asia (Hong Kong and Taiwan in particular) but i also travel a lot around Europe (even if, when i've time, i rather prefer the train also on long distance travels :D ).

I mainly travel Oneworld (CX) and sometimes Star Alliance (Turkish, LOT, Lufthansa), but basically i travelled on a countless number of airlines and planes.

Hi there!

I've lurked for a while but finally decided it's time to join. I'm from DFW and I love exploring my city to find new food and exciting events. Any other DFWers out there?

I'll be traveling all over the country in the fall, so I welcome any cool tips/ideas of things to do in your city! I love the thrill of finding an awesome deal, which explains my addiction to forums like SD, and I'm excited to cross over into the land of travel.

Hi, everyone.

I've been doing earning miles and MSing for about a year now. Hoping to discover new methods and helping those in need!

Dear All

I am Ganador from India. While trying to get the best deals for my flight search to Brazil- I got here (though I have no clue with all the jargon used here for finding the cheapest flights) .
Look forward to hear inputs and advice , on my forthcoming trip to DEL to GRU via MUC-and I have 16 hour stop there at MUC.

Long time lurker but today I was finally able to register and log in without a hitch. I love to travel but due to my job I have limited vacation time so I usually take around 4 trips per year. I am learning so much on this forum and what I like is that most of the posters are nice to each other.

Hi everyone! My name is Vivien and I'm new to everything here...I love shinkansen too!:)

I usually travel from the states to Taiwan, Japan, and Bangkok, but certainly want to travel to more destinations. I'm looking forward to learn from the travel pros here on how to accumulate more points on my Aegean Member and United Mileage credit card to get those lounge privilege started. It's nice to connect with bunch of nomadic travelers here, cheers!

Newbie

My family of 6 is new to points and miles. We have had a Disney rewards card that has served us well, but we are looking to expand out world beyond Disneyland. :) I know it may be impossible to get free travel for my large family, but I am hoping to make it much cheaper to travel by earning and using points. Any suggestions would be helpful.
