Hi, I'm iFlip23. I currently reside in Manchester, UK but I will be moving to Sydney, Australia at the end of May.
I have been a frequent visitor to the FlyerTalk website in the past when needing help and assistance with air related queries and best ways to fly (it was actually posts on FlyerTalk that persuaded me to go MAN-LHR-SIN-SYD at Christmas time as opposed to MAN-DXB-SYD).

I thought that with me relocating to Sydney and the inevitable frequency in which I will travel "home" to Manchester, I thought it would be a good idea to sign up to FlyerTalk so I could get some tips on what ways would be best to spend my avios I have with BA, the avios I will get with Qantas for my trip back to Sydney.

I am very much looking forward to becoming a contributing member of the FT community.

Hi My name is Esther and I'm new to all this. This site overwhelms me with all the lingo but I hope to learn it all. My goal is to earn enough miles to fly my family of 7 (2 adults/5 kids) to Japan so we can see my grandmother before she dies. The closest airport is Sacramento, CA (SMF) but I think that San Francisco (SFO) is cheaper to fly there. I can also use the San Jose (SJC), Oakland (OAK) or Stockton airport (SCK)-whichever is cheapest. The closest airport to my grandmother is Fukuoka airport (FUK) but I don't mind flying to any of Japan's other airports if it's cheaper to fly elsewhere.

I am in CLE and travel mostly for pleasure however 1-2 times per year I travel for work.

My favorite cards are AMEX PR Gold and Barclaycard arrival.

I also just recently received my AAdvantage Executive MC with 100k bonus miles.
