Greetings from the East Midlands, here in the UK.
I found fellow F/Talkers to be a huge source of information when it came to my dilemma concerning a pre-booked flight to New Zealand on Emirates. My travel plans were "all up in the air", pardon the pun, with the situation in the Persian Gulf.
Thanks to the advice on the EK forum I applied for a refund, which was completed online, used the appropriate terminology in the form and got all my money back. No cancellation fee imposed.
I was so looking forward to the trip, but at least everything was refunded.

Hi all, been lurking for some time and replied in some threads at times too. Thought I’d say hello! Mainly into hotel redemptions with Marriott and Hilton but slightly more difficult as a UK resident. Had plenty of advice from fellow FTers so looking forward to helping back when possible!
