hi all! I've been dropping in occasionally over the last few years, but getting more active. Travel ex-AMS on a few intercontinental flights every year, both business and pleasure.

I am a newbie to the forum, based near Niagara Falls with a home Airport of BUF (will fly out of YYZ for international travel).

Started travelling extensively last December for my job and want to better take advantage of the points, miles, programs, etc.; especially to take my family on vacations.

I am a Delta Silver, Hilton Diamond and Hertz 5-star member.

Hello all I am eyeofawe,
I enjoy traveling and I heard about this forum site and had to join. I have had a milage awards account for a good while with out the credit card rewards and just not really trying to harness the power of milage and points. I have already set up some big trips for next year ( yes already planning ahead) to try to achieve the most I can from mile rewards membership, and hopefully this forum can help me take it all the way.
My current situation is this Base Airport is SAN mostly and sometimes LAX. And in January I have planned at 6050 miles trip with a Stop in MIA and at the end of January a 22900 trip with a stop in LHR on one world Partners AA & BA respectively.

I figure I am starting out the year fairly well from a milage perspective and I want you all to help me make the best of it. Hopefully I get at many perks out of this with your help.

I am looking for pointers, expertise, and just advice. Also plan on starting MRs.

I currently have few miles in several FFP that sometimes are in different alliances… will now focus only on one (*A) and start MRs to get my silver card next year ^

I discovered ITA with you guys, it’s really useful, so much possibilities.
Now I’m trying to get deeper in how to run FD but still complicate to understand codes and everything.

I’m flying basically for tourism and few flight a year for business, mainly across Europe.

Just joined although I've been scouring FT pages for weeks and finding lots of great information. I fly purely for leisure but want to maximize my mileage earnings and even try a mileage run or two. I have been going back and forth between DL and AA programs, but since DL has devalued SkyMiles so much I am concentrating on AA now. My home base is PBI but generally do international flights from MIA. I just received my Global Entry card and am itching to put it to good use.

Any advice, pointers, etc. is welcome!
