I'm wondering if this place is mainly for premium fares. It sounds like economy fare discussion is deemed "off topic". Is there a place FT'ers go to discuss economy deals.
I'm specifically interested in

west coast USA
to
Southeast Asia.

I'm not disparaging FT. I got a lot of help in how to use my AA miles for an award ticket. Who knew there were multiple ways to search for tickets on AA.

Welcome to FT! Economy fare discussion isn't off-topic, but it's context specific. We're not a board that's intended to replace doing your own research or hiring a travel agent. Premium deal discussions get a lot of attention because people feel the need to share unusual bargain, but you'll also see people share good economy deals in the Mileage Run forum.

First ignant (a step or two below "ignorant") newbie question...what the heck is an MR? Is it just an abbreviation for "miles reward," or...?

I'm not new, however, I couldn't receive a new password with the two emails I used so I created a new profile. I used to post back in the early 00s and I don't know what name I used.

I do see a difference when I have the yellow "priority" bag tags on checked bags. If I'm not in the priority category already, I find my bags within the first 2 or 3 dozen off of the plane. I check bags usually 60-90 min. before boarding begins. I purchased these from FlyerTalk a couple of decades ago.
