Hi
Hi everyone,
I'm here to work out how to best use some M&M miles I've accumulated. I should get M&M frequent flyer this year, then maybe I'll push for Sen next year. I normally fly Swiss, with ZRH-LCY being my most frequent route. All the best, H. |
Been a lurker for years - travel has started to pick up substantially vs. my prior traveling so decided to join and contribute where I can! Love the site.

Good Afternoon - I'm a new member from the Detroit area, life goal is to do a half-marathon in each state. To accomplish this, it would be wise to take advantage of deals / miles. I've been a part of another deal website, however I want to focus on travel to accomplish this goal.
What happened.. I recently got a deal alert email for the DTW to Houston $150 RT, had the flight leave Sat morning get back Sunday night planned with a half marathon Sunday morning, waited for my buddy to text me back and lost out (Wife wants to be pregnant than, so she didn't want to go). Should have done the $14 lock price for 48 hours (DAH!). Lesson learned. Therefore, I need to rack up the miles so I can fly cheap, and capture price errors when they happen. My credit is excellent (18k limit on the SW Chase CC yesterday), already own a house so I don't care if my credit score goes up and down in the short period. Any advice is appreciated, and the most important thing is for me to read the forums! P.S. Disney World has had the best half marathons I've done to date, did two last year there. Thank you, Augustus Smash |
Hi! I discovered credit card bonuses about a year ago, but I haven't really delved into it that much, which I now see is a big, big mistake. haha
However, I do have two Chase cards (with 100k UR points,) 52k Amex MR points, and the Barclaycard Arrival World with its 40k sign-up bonus, and another round of apps in March (so potentially I could have more miles by April.) My goal is to travel from LA to Europe (I have friends in London, Heidelberg, Prague, Vienna) and the Philippines (where most of my family is) and hopefully back to LA using only these resources - that's why I joined FlyerTalk! :D About me: I'm a half-trained opera singer who hasn't yet decided whether to pursue a professional career (after a LOT more training,) so I quit my serving job in order to take stock of my life (and visit my friends and family around the world while I'm at it.) |
Hi everyone, I have visiting this site for more than 5 years, so I guess it was the time to join the community.
I travel every two, three months from different places as my job nature keep me away from home... I am currently using Mumbai Airport as my main hub so feel free to ask any questions related to this specific location. Cheers! |
Hello all,
I am in Devon, England. I have collected BA Airmiles, then Avios, for years, although not very enthusiastically. Just put them in the pot when they came along. Saying that, I have collected enough for several free European flights and have upgraded Economy to Business seats on a couple of UK to Far Eastern Asia flights. Recently I have started collecting BA and Virgin Atlantic miles with a bit more enthusiasm. I am saving for a VS flight to either Tokyo or Hong Kong and BA flights to West Coast North America. So far in 2014 I have flown to NYC. My next flight is to Bordeaux in June. I fly Economy in Europe, Premier Economy to the East USA and Business elsewhere. I have never flown First but would like to one day on a very long flight. Hoping Flyertalk will give me a few top tips to optimise points collection! |
Hey all,
Long time lurking and landing here via google results. Looking forward to redeeming some of my reward points :) |
Hoping to learn how to not pay more than $100 for a room
Hi All,
I'm fortunate because my spouse works for Sheraton. We will be in Europe and are unable to receive an employee discount for several nights. I'm hoping to learn how to find a room for less than $100. |
Hi Everyone!!! My name is Pri ans I have briefly searched the site and feel it has great resources. Would like to find good ways to get to Platinum level at Marriott and United.

Hey all! Sean here, saying hello from Southern California. New to the Forum and have found this site quite informative. I have never really flown THAT much in the past but for 2014, I have been taking quite a lot of trips. All my flying is for pleasure and recently earned United's Premier Silver. I don't see my trips slowing down this year and have already calculated Gold by the end of May.

Intro
Hello all,
I tend to fly Copa as I live in Panama and it's the hub there. I travel for work and fly all over the world. I hope to learn new ways to earn mileage and keep abreast of the changes that the airlines and airports make as air travel evolves. V/R Paramortis |
New to flyer talk. Never there were so many people afflicted with the same addiction as me!
I'm a serial poster on other forums, so expect to see a lot of me! |
hello
wait is it bad if I put more than just "hello" or can I tell you all about my hobbies and my model airplane collection? |
